WITH THE ECONOMY teetering on the brink of further recession, one Cheshire law firm continues to buck the downward trend having achieved record turnover of 12.8m for the year 2011-12.
Ranking 4th in the UK for Revenue Per Lawyer (UK200) among all law firms, Bott & Co are proving that one way through economic difficulty is by working even harder.
Award winning local solicitors practice among top firms in the UK
Wilmslow based personal injury solicitors Bott & Co raised eyebrows throughout the legal profession when they broke into the top 200 law firms in the UK as compiled by industry journal, The Lawyer.
Their entry position of 160 overall represents the solid growth of an organisation that continues to recruit during the recession and has bucked trends by focusing on client care, staff training, and market-leading IT systems.
A local charity received a cheque for £10,000 this week from Bott & Co, a Wilmslow law firm celebrating their 10th anniversary.
Joanna Southgate, President and former chairman, Marion Jones, Trustee and founder member, and Helen Battilana, Trustee and Chairman of Wilmslow Wells for Africa met with David Bott, managing partner of Bott & Co Solicitors, for the handover of the donation and expressed their delight at the gesture.
Helen said: "We are thrilled to receive this very substantial donation from Bott & Co which will enable us to provide clean water to thousands more African people living in rural communities"
BOTT & CO WIN ILEX EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR 2011
The Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) today announced the winner of Employer of the Year at their graduation event in Kempston, Bedford, as personal injury and conveyancing specialists Bott & Company.
The coveted award recognises the commitment Bott & Co have made to their staff training and the establishment of an Academy to support and fund colleagues on ILEX and other training courses.
A SOLICITORS has celebrated its 10th anniversary in Wilmslow by donating £10,000 to charity.
Bott & Co Solicitors, which practices conveyancing and personal injury law, marks its 10th year of trading this month and has just signed a new six year lease keeping them in the town until at least 2017.
To further emphasise the firm's commitment to Wilmslow, Managing Partner David Bott committed £10,000 to the Wilmslow Wells for Africa charity earlier this week, much to the delight of the charity's trustees.

Law firm Bott & Co has launched the UK's first Personal Injury iPhone application on iTunes that allows claimants to get instant access to a personal injury solicitor if they have been involved in an accident.
The 'Car Incident Assistant' application and software developed by the IT Team at Bott & Co specialist personal injury lawyers gives accident victims the ability to get instant advice and guidance including access to a specialist over the phone via the Bott & Co call centre.
