Saphina Uddin is a Portal Fee Earner in the Road Traffic Accident department and her caseload of files deals with the client’s claim for uninsured losses including their injuries, loss of earnings and damaged items. She also works hard to ensure the client recovers from their injuries as quickly as possible and will arrange for physiotherapy wherever needed.
She began working at Bott and Co as an Office Junior in 2013 and this role taught her the importance of making sure the files are organised and up to date so the cases can be progressed quickly and swiftly.
Saphina then worked her way up to becoming Admin Assistant which gave her experience in dealing with clients directly, over the phone and by email, ensuring any queries are addressed and that the clients are kept up to date.
She aims to keep the compensation process as straightforward as possible and ensures clients are kept updated at every stage. She also ensures that they feel supported during the legal process and goes out of her way to do so.
Saphina has seen her career progress and develop through the help of The Bott Academy – the firm’s formalised training scheme – which she joined in 2015. She completed her Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) Level 3 in 2017 and is currently studying for her Level 6.
As a result of her being at the firm for over five years, she has seen that Bot and Co are always geared towards representing people who have been injured and her main priority is securing the justice and compensation they deserve.
She takes time to carefully consider her clients’ circumstances to give advice in a sensitive and efficient manner, always striving to recover the maximum amount of compensation for clients within the shortest possible time.
“For me the most rewarding part of the job is being able to tell the client that we have settled their claim and achieved the compensation they deserve” says Saphina.
Providing good customer service and ensuring the clients are happy motivates Saphina in her role. She is dedicated to her role and is known for her helpful, efficient approach, keeping clients updated at all times and meeting tight deadlines.
“I want to be able to achieve as much compensation as I can for clients and as quickly as possible. I also ensure that they are satisfied with the service provided when they contact us.”
In her spare time she enjoys travelling, going to the gym, socialising and baking.
