James Davies is a Portal Fee Earner in Bott and Co’s Road Traffic Accident department, having initially joined the firm as an Admin Assistant in 2015.
Due the firm’s rigorous training and development program, James progressed quickly to his current position as Portal Fee Earner.
He takes client satisfaction very seriously, and always does his best to manage clients’ expectations in his pursuit of the best possible outcome.
His caseload includes cases arising out of injuries sustained as result of road traffic accidents
Attention to detail is one of James’ keys attributes and an ability to use plain language to explain complex legal points in the regular updates he gives his clients.
In his current position amongst other duties, he takes initial enquiries from injured parties, gets to know the client, their case and advising them on the prospects of their potential claim. He is professional to the core and derives much satisfaction from ensuring a generous settlement is negotiated for the client within the shortest possible time.
Bott and Co’s road traffic accident team is committed to supporting pedestrians, motorists and cyclists who have been injured on the roads. We know how injuries from a road traffic accident can have life-changing consequences for both victims and their families.
James uses his experience to empathise and sympathise with clients who find themselves victims of road traffic accidents and for him, helping innocent parties, turning the negative of an accident to a positive outcome by identifying their expectations at the outset, and understanding all of their rehabilitation needs is crucial and motivates him to always go the extra mile.
When asked what motivates him most about is role he said: “Seeing the impact an accident has on somebody from start, and then watching the transition through the case up to the stage in which the Client is back to the place they were before the accident. It is rewarding knowing that I have helped them through the journey and helped them put the negative experience behind them.”
Outside of work, James has a passion for food and is a great chef. He enjoys the challenge of creating elegant dishes and is a firm believer of focusing on one or two ingredients in a dish and making them shine, by keeping things simple and interesting.
