Hannah Blears joined Bott and Co in 2017 as a member of the Road Traffic Accident Team.
Her key responsibilities include managing out-of-portal fast-track road traffic accident claims, with a large proportion of those becoming litigated.
The main focus for each case is to ensure that the client is rehabilitated and compensated appropriately for the injuries they have sustained, whilst also focussing on resolving any disputes that may arise.
The life-span of each case typically includes arranging medical examinations with the appropriate expert, arranging any recommended rehabilitation (for example physiotherapy or CBT), and liaising with third party solicitors, insurers, barristers, mechanics, the police, the Court, medical agencies, etc.
Hannah also has experience in EL/PL, MIB matters and has trained several new employees at her previous job on road traffic accident matters. Her experience in the field has seen her attend Courts in both England and Wales for infant approval settlement hearings as well as conducting Pre-Action Disclosure hearings.
She has a genuine passion for the job that she does and takes pride in fighting for justice for innocent clients.
With the challenges facing the legal market, the environment has become more complex. However, unlike some organisations that may be associated with insurance companies placing other parties’ interests above yours, we only serve to deliver the highest amount of compensation you’re entitled to.
She appreciates the importance of supporting clients through a difficult time, helping them understand the legal process and ensuring if necessary the right rehabilitation is put in place and future needs are considered.
Hannah works proactively to solve any issues arising and keeps in regular communication with client so that they are kept up to date with the progress of a claim.
“I know how sometimes courts hearing can be a difficult time for the client but supporting them through it while managing expectations is paramount, and is what I always strive to do when helping clients resolve disputes.”
“I am motivated by a desire to help my clients. The responsibility of providing legal representation and support during what can often be a stressful experience is something that I take seriously, and always try to execute to the best of my ability.”
Outside of work Hannah enjoys live entertainment, particularly music orientated events. She enjoys travelling and a particular highlight was back in 2015 when she took 5 months out of work to explore South East Asia. She also occasionally creates her own artwork pieces which she shares with her family and friends.
