The Compensation Recovery Unit (CRU) works with insurance companies, solicitors and DWP customers, to recover some social security benefits paid as a result of an accident, injury or disease, where a compensation payment has been made. The CRU also recovers costs incurred by NHS hospitals for treatment of injuries from road traffic accidents.

The Cancellation of Contracts Made in a Consumer’s Home or Place of Work etc. Regulations 2008, deal with contracts signed in your home or place of work. The regulations say that where a Client signs types of contract at home or at their place of work they must be provided with a written notice of their right to cancel the contract. If you are visited by one of our representatives you will be provided with a Notice of Right to Cancel and Cancellation notice which you can return if you want to cancel your agreement with us within 7 days.

Visit the Motor Insurance Bureau (MIB) for details of the procedure for accidents which are caused by untraced or uninsured drivers and MIB’s role regarding claims for accidents that occur when driving in the UK. The MIB can also provide advice and information relating to accidents abroad or motor accidents involving foreign drivers on British roads.
