Difference between Asbestosis and Mesothelioma

Although mesothelioma and asbestosis are in some way related, there are also some essential differences that many people aren’t aware of. Asbestosis is a condition in which a ‘build-up’ occurs on the lungs and impedes correct breathing. Asbestosis is often misdiagnosed as asthma because of the similarity of symptoms. In such cases it may be possible to pursue medical negligence compensation.
Mesothelioma is a type of cancer that affects the mesothelium of specific organs: it becomes difficult for the lungs to expand and common symptoms include difficulty breathing, chest pains and difficulty sleeping.
